The PYP Curriculum
The PYP curriculum framework begins with the belief that students are the architects of their own learning and active partners in the educational process. It places a strong emphasis on people and relationships, fostering a robust learning community.
PYP students are encouraged to take initiative and responsibility for their learning. Through inquiry and reflection, they develop knowledge, conceptual understandings, skills, and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile. Standards-Based Learning
To maintain high academic rigor, IMSOL integrates IB PYP with the C3 Framework for Social Studies and NGSS Science standards. By combining the IB PYP framework with these academic standards, we create an educational experience that is both holistic and rigorous. This approach equips our students with the conceptual understanding and subject-specific knowledge they need to excel academically and thrive as informed, empathetic, and globally competent individuals.
