The International Montessori School of Latvia (IMSOL) is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and diverse educational community with English as the language of instruction. Currently, we serve students aged 2.5 years to 9 years with a unique program that harmoniously blends the Montessori curriculum with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP)* framework, as an IB PYP Candidate school. We will be extending our services to include ages 9 to 12 in Fall 2025.
*The International Montessori School of Lativa is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that the International Montessori School of Latvia believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).
